Fans all over the world are bracing themselves to celebrate being a Fenerbahce supporter.

19 July is recognised as the 'Global Fenerbahce Supporters Day'.

The date itself does not carry any historic significance, and contrary to what some fans may like to think, the club was not formed on July 19.

Why July 19?

Well digitally displayed the date is 19.07, representing the same four digits in the year which the club were formed (1907).

Therefore, for the past number of years fans have declared this date as the “Global Fenerbahce Supporters Day” and celebrate every year.

Happy Fenerbahce day everybody!

avatar Happy Fenerbahce day!

It's too hard to say my favourite/most memorable moment as a Fenerbahce fan but my most recent one was the penalty shootout and generally the 2 legs played against Sevilla in the Champions League.

avatar My favourite all time moment was being at Old Trafford when Elvir Bolic scored that deflected goal (off David May) and we beat Man Utd 0-1. The first time they lost an European tie at home after 40 years.

Oh how I celebrated!!
