Gokcek Vederson joins the increasing list of injured players at Fenerbahce.
Vederson ruptured ligaments in his left knee during preseason training in Austria and has been ruled out for 3 months. The Brazilian-born Turkish citizen required immediate surgery and is not expected to return to training for at least 8 weeks. Typically, this form of injury requires a further 4 weeks rehabilitation before the player is ready for a return to competitive football. The 27-year-old joins Deivid de Souza (broken ankle), Tumer Metin (knee) and soldier Emre Belozoglu (hamstring) who will also be missing-in-action for a while yet.
