Luis Aragones has crushed speculation linking him with a move to Valencia, insisting ‘I am not going anywhere.’

Aragones was linked with Valencia earlier this week with Marca (Spanish newspaper) claiming that an announcement confirming his move could be made on 16 July.  Well, today is 16 July and the only announcement made has come from the Fenerbahce coach himself, informing everyone of his desire to stay at his new club.

Whilst the 69-year-old was reluctant to deny an approach from the La Liga club he was content with saying, “I am not considering any offers and nothing else interests me apart from getting my team ready for the Champions League qualifier against MTK [Budapest].”

Asked if Fenerbahce were prepared for the challenge, the Euro 2008 winner said, “There are points we need to improve but we are getting there.  When the match day comes we will be prepared.”

Aragones' statement will come as a relief to the Fenerbahce board who want to install stability in the side once again following Arthur Zico's departure.
