Spanish newspaper Marca is reporting on a strange development involving Luis Aragones and Valencia.
According to the source, the club nicknamed ‘Los Che’ is lining up the newly appointed Fenerbahce coach as a successor to current manager Unai Emery. Club Treasurer Juan Villalongo is said to have been in contact with Aragones making him aware of their interest. Valencia President Juan Soler wants to offer the Euro 2008 winner a 2 year deal and the 69-year-old is said to be flattered. The ambitious Soler has also scheduled in a press conference on July 16 where he hopes to showcase his latest managerial recruit.
The article published in Marca also claims that under the terms of agreement made with Fenerbahce, Aragones is permitted to leave the Istanbul club without paying compensation.
