Brazilian legend and world famous left back Roberto Carlos arrived in Turkey at 02:00 via Madrid early Tuesday morning and is expected to join the squad for training today.  He will also undergo a medical at Acibadem Hospital to assess his fitness levels following a serious injury from last season.

This is expected to end some ungrounded speculation by the Turkish media whether or not Carlos was actually going to return, as some reported he was going to follow suit with Zico and leave the club as well.

In the latest edition of Fenerbahce Magazine Carlos stated, "The fans won't be disappointed anymore."  The Brazilian superstar has pledged the rest of his career to the Yellow Canaries and is hoping to become the 'Director of Football' after he retires.   The 35 year old also confirmed he has fully recovered from his injury and is ready for the new season.
