English sources claim Fenerbahce has tabled a £7M (€8.8M, $14M USD) bid for Chelsea striker Andriy Shevchenko.
Daily Mail and Daily Mirror both report that the Kadikoy club are also prepared to meet the Ukraine star’s £130,000 (€163K, $260K USD) per week wage demands.
Shevchenko became Chelsea’s record signing two years ago when he moved from AC Milan for £30.9M (€39M, $61.8M USD). The 31 year old has failed to make the expected impact in the Premier League and has become unsettled in London. It is almost certain he will move away from Stamford Bridge this summer.
Sheva's former club AC Milan are also said to be interested in resigning the old Rossoneri fan favourite but are not prepared to meet his high salary or Chelsea's valuation.
