Fenerbahce ended the 07/08 season on a sour note despite enjoying their best ever European campaign by reaching the Champions League quarter finals. Most fans would have settled for a good run in Europe ahead of a domestic championship at the start of last season, but the club President is not content. Rumour has it that Aziz Yildirim and his board members are disappointed with how the season panned out. The Fenerbahce chief and his colleagues will be working overtime in the summer transfer market to build a squad strong enough to challenge for silverware both domestically and abroad.
