Arthur Zico is sweating over the fitness of Ugur Boral ahead of this season’s final game against Trabzonspor.

 

Fenerbahce must win at Avni Aker stadium to stand any chance of retaining the Turkcell Super Lig title.  The Yellow Canaries are 3 points adrift of Galatasaray and require victory in Trabzon coupled with a Genclerbirligi OFTASspor triumph at Ali Sami Yen. 

 

Roberto Carlos and Gokcek Vederson are both out so winger Ugur Boral was left to cover at full back in recent weeks.  It now appears that Zico may need another alternative as the 25 year old has been absent in the two days of match preparations and today had to walk off the training field midway through after his pains increased. 

 

If the Turkey international is unavailable Zico will be without a recognised left sided player and will have to draft in another player.  FC Moscow bound Onder Turaci is out injured as is Diego Lugano leaving the much debated Can Arat as the only defender available for selection.   

 

When you bear in mind the fact that Trabzonspor’s most influential player Ibrahima Yattara operates from the right flank, Zico’s problem is put into perspective.
