At Kadikoy Fenerbahce has averaged a very impressive 2.56 points per game this season, but away from home it is a whole different story.

Sukru Saracoglu has not been given the nickname of Fortress for no reason.  Visiting opponents often leave empty handed and play in hope of avoiding an embarrassing score line.  Of the 16 matches played at home Fenerbahce has won 13, drawn 2 and only lost to Bursaspor racking up 41 points in the process.

On their travels however, the Yellow Canaries have not been anywhere near as productive.  The current win ratio is one in every two whilst a defeat occurs almost once in every 5 matches.  A total of 19 points have been lost on the road this season which may explain why the league championship has not been sewn up already.

Fenerbahce play Genclerbirligi at home on Sunday before ending the season at Trabzonspor’s Avni Aker stadium the following week.  The Canaries must get all 6 points from these 2 matches to guarantee Champions League football next season and keep their slim championship hopes alive.
