 Fenerbahce defender Diego Lugano will have to sit out the last 2 remaining games of the season after picking up an injury in the Galatasaray derby.
The Uruguay Captain had to leave the field of play in the 42nd minute complaining of a problem with his left knee. The defender had received medical treatment earlier in the game but had to leave after his knee trouble continued. An MR scan at Istanbul Acibadem hospital highlighted that the 27 year old has stretched his ligaments meaning he will need to be rested for a minimum of 2 weeks. Controversial club doctor Piyer Arzuman yesterday confirmed that after Stephen Appiah, Deniz Baris and Roberto Carlos, Lugano too has ended the season prematurely.
