 It is no secret that Semih Senturk has gained himself several admirers this season. FC Moscow are rumoured to have offered him €7.5M over three years, but a transfer is the last thing on the striker’s mind right now.
FC Moscow is also known to be interested in Semih’s Fenerbahce teammate Onder Turaci, hoping to seal a double transfer swoop as they plan an assault on the Russian title next season. Incidentally, ‘The Citizens’ are not the only option for the Turkey forward who has “a few offers” on the table. However, overzealous journalists looking for a reporting coup were left disappointed when the 25 year old confirmed, “I am in no position to think about a transfer right now.” The Transformer continued, “There is no point talking about or evaluating the transfer offers I have received. There is only one thing on my mind right now and that is beating Galatasaray. After that, the focus will be on sealing the championship and once we have accomplished this, weighing up my next move will naturally follow.” Semih, dubbed psychic by his teammates for his knack of accurate football related predictions, joined the growing list of footballers commenting on Sunday’s derby against Galatasaray. “The match at the weekend is crucial but I strongly believe we will take a very positive step towards retaining the title, and of course I want to score against them!” If this prediction is also correct Semih might add a career change to his list of options, replacing the leather ball with a crystal one. Although he will have to be some clairvoyant to make more than €2.5M a year in that business...
