The mobile telecommunications firm have sponsored the football team since 2003/04 season and the initial deal was made under their former name of Aria. 

However, following the merger of Turk Telekom's GSM operator Aycell with Is-TIM (Italian operators) Aria became Avea and the new brand name replaced the previous one.

The value of new deal has yet to be announced although more details could be provided at tomorrow’s press conference.  Fenerbahce vice president Ali Koc and Avea CEO Cuneyt Turktan will hold a small ceremony at Sukru Sarcoglu stadium beginning from 10.30am local time.
