Fenerbahçe host Kasimpasaspor on Friday 21 March for match 27 of the season.  The game kicks off at 20:00 local time (GMT+2) and

Fenerbahçe kick-start the match week a point behind the leaders and will be hoping for a win to put pressure on Besiktas, who visit Istanbul Buyuksehir Beldiyesispor on Saturday, and Galatasaray who host Denizlispor on Sunday.        

Roberto Carlos and long-term absentee Deniz Baris will miss out through injury whilst Claudio Maldonado is expected to be named in the in the first eleven after returning to full fitness.  Goalkeeper Volkan Demirel will also be out serving the last of his 4 match suspension.     

Serdar Kulbilge will replace Volkan in goal whilst Gokcek Vederson continues to deputise for Roberto Carlos at left back and Maldonado will displace Selcuk Sahin.   

Kasimpasaspor are bottom of the league but their performance has improved in the second half of the season.  The Istanbul team enjoyed their best result of the season so far at Ali Sami Yen where they beat the then leaders Galatasaray 1-0 showing they are capable of pulling an upset.     

The last meeting between the sides ended with a 2-1 Canaries’ victory at Ataturk Olympic Stadium.
